Hole 18
Par 4
Dunsborough Lakes leaves its best until last with a challenging, long par 4 water hole.
Like the sixteenth, a large lake runs along the entire right-hand side but this time it cuts into the fairway at the start creating a long water carry off the tee.
A precise layup short and left of the green is also required by most players as the lake cuts in once more with about 100 metres to go.
The green is guarded on the left, back and back right by bunkers. Coupled with a stone wall on the front right the final approach is far from straightforward.
With the final putt sunk it’s off to the nineteenth for a debrief and refreshments.
